Cyme was one of the few cities of Asia Minor to strike coins in the name of Nerva, all of which are extremely rare today: RPC knew of three types, attested in a total of only five examples. Our coin is thus the sixth known coin of Nerva from Cyme, and it is of a new, hitherto unattested reverse type, showing the eponymous Amazon Kyme
